Admission Programmes and introduction

All the programmes (Clinical Medicine excluded) are open to international students.The language of instruction is Chinese. After enrollment, students will first receive a 4-month-in-campus intensive Chinese language bridging programme before commencing their diploma programmes. In the first academic year, students will still need to focus on Chinese language learning, and the second and third years are mainly specialised courses and internships complemented by Chinese language courses.

Admission Requirements

1. Applicants must be a healthy non-Chinese citizen under the age of 30.

2.Educational requirements: Applicants must have a high school diploma or a diploma from the second stage of education.

3.Language requirements: Applicants should have reached HSK4 (Chinese Proficiency Test) before admission. Those who have not attained the required level or above need to attend the intensive Chinese language training organised by Anhui Medical College. After the training, they need to sit for either the HSK or the test organised by the school. Only those who pass the language test can enter the diploma study.

Applicants should submit all application materials to contactus@ahyz.edu.cn. All documents must be completed in either Chinese or English. Applicants should bring the original of the above materials for verification when they arrive at school.

Admission Procedure

The school will conduct virtual interviews with each applicant via instant messaging software (e.g. Zoom).The admission list will be determined according to the applications and the interview results.

Qualified applicants will receive an Admission Notice from AMC in Chinese and an English one for reference and a visa application form for foreign students in China (JW202).Applicants should apply for an "X1"(intend to study in China for a period of more than 180 days) visa with the above documents to Chinese overseas visa agencies.

New students will be admitted on time according to the admission notice and JW202 form. Those who fail to show up one week after the registration (reporting to school)deadline will be disqualified automatically. After enrollment, AMC shall organise an entry-exit physical examination for foreigners. Only those who pass the examination results can be officially qualified for admission.

Living facilities

AMC has an international student apartment specially designed for international students.Two students share a dormitory. The apartment has complete facilities and wireless network coverage. Each dormitory is equipped with air conditioner, bathroom, and laundry room etc.In the campus, basketball courts, football fields, tennis courts, badminton courts, indoor gym and other sports venues and facilities are all available.
