The School of Pharmacy was established in 2007 and renamed as such in 2021. It now offers three diploma programmes: Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Biopharmaceutical Technology and Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Pharmacy is the backbone programme of the National Innovation and Development Action Plan and the provincial characteristic programme, while Biopharmaceutical Technology is a key construction programme of Provincial Demonstration Colleges and one of the provincial characteristic programmes.

The Experimental Training Centre of the School of Pharmacy has been approved as "Vocational Education Training Base" supported by the central finance, "Provincial Demonstration training Centre", "Provincial Pharmaceutical Preparation Technology Engineering Practice Education Opening Centre" and "Anhui Province School-enterprise Co-operation Demonstration Base". It has 34 experimental and training rooms, covering an area of 2,600 square metres.

A pharmaceutical experiment and training centre, with a total laboratory area of 3,700 square metres, is now under construction in Xinqiao Campus and will be put into use in the end of the year 2022.
