The School of Stomatology was founded as Dept. of Stomatology in 2003. It offers two diploma programmes, Diploma in Oral Medicine and Diploma in Oral Medicine Technology. In the years of teaching practice, the School of Stomatology has formed a strong teaching team. It has 18 full-time teaching staff, including 6 associate professors and 3 associate chief physicians. The school employs more than 20 part-time lecturers from the Second People's Hospital of Anhui Province, Hefei Stomatological Hospital and other A-level tertiary hospitals. Three of our full-time staff have won the title of "New Talent in Teaching" awarded by the Education Department of Anhui Province. The members of staff have presided over more than 20 teaching and scientific research projects of the Education Department of Anhui Province, and published more than 50 papers in SCI journals and national public journals. The school's 1500 ©O Oral training centre has been equipped with 2 oral medicine comprehensive training rooms, 3 standard head-mould rooms, 3 oral medical technology comprehensive training rooms and 1 digital training room etc. The centre has been rated as "Provincial School-enterprise Co-operation Practice Education Base" and "Provincial Demonstration Experiment and Training Centre". Over the years, more than 4,000 students have been trained, and now there are more than 1,000 students in the school. The student employment rate has maintained nearly 100% for the last three consecutive years.
