In a significant achievement for Anhui Medical College, 20 students have been awarded ANS Full Scholarships of Singapore. The announcement comes after a five-day on-site selection process conducted by a panel from the MOHH, the SingHealth and Ngee Ann Polytechnic of Singapore.

The panel, responsible for the 2023 Singapore Asian Nursing Scholarship program, recently visited our campus to carry out the selection process. Anhui Medical College, recognized as one of the centralized examination centers for the national program, played a crucial role in coordinating the recruitment exams and interviews for Anhui Medical College, Hubei Vocational and Technical College, Jiangxi Health Vocational College, and Qinghai Health Vocational and Technical College.

After three intense days of written and oral examinations, out of the 62 candidates from the four institutions, a total of 36 students demonstrated outstanding performance and successfully secured full scholarship qualifications. Notably, AMC led the nation with 20 students accepted, showcasing the excellence of our students. The scholarship program's selection panel commended the organizational and coordination efforts of AMC and praised the overall performance of our students.

Following the successful selection process, AMC will now facilitate the outbound medical examinations, passport applications, visa procedures, and pre-departure training for the scholarship recipients. This meticulous planning aims to ensure that the 20 students embark on their academic journey in Singapore smoothly, commencing their international studies in January next year.

Anhui Medical College, as one of the 11 institutions selected nationwide for the Singapore Asian Nursing Scholarship program, has been actively involved in the program since 2006. As of the end of last year, nearly 220 students from AMC have benefited from this program, pursuing their education in Singapore and contributing to the growing reputation of our institution on the global stage.
